• The Drytex fabric is only produced exclusively for DonJoy. It is a patented Lycra fabric surrounding a nylon core. Quite simply, we tried it and we feel it doesn't add much more support than the "economy" model, plus it was more expensive. • How does this knee brace compare to the DonJoy Playmaker knee brace? The DonJoy Playmaker knee brace provides more knee support, and is suitable for contact sports.
